Jute’s relevance persists due to global interest in eco-friendly products. Bangladesh, a major producer (accounting for 42% of global production), combines tradition with innovative designs. However, challenges include rising production costs, aging machinery, and the need for compliance. Competition from other jute-growing countries and alternative materials affects demand.
